Very first hat-trick of Wasim Akram against Australia

Legendary fast bowler Wasim Akram made his first hat-trick in One Day International playing against Australia in 1990 at Sharjah. This was the result of classic bowling and Aussie batsmen could not stand before him in the whole match. He was very young at that time and Australian batting was considered powerhouse during that era.

It was a jam packed stadium of Sharjah when Wasim Akram achieved this milestone. There were several renowned celebrities sitting in the crowd who really enjoyed his performance. Among the well know statesmen of United Arab Emirates, the future president of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari was also sitting in the crowd.

Mr. Zardari really celebrated the hat-trick of Wasim Akram and he gave him his utmost appreciations. He was almost standing on his toes to mark the splendid victory of legend fast bowler along with the other notable guests. The young pacer of Pakistan had given his best performance until then.
